I found song titles by typing gibberish into the DuckDuckGo search engine and looking for interesting words. If you search for the they all mean something, sort of. The title and the meaning of the music are not connected. I encourage you to look up the titles and let the music become attached to the title in whatever way that makes sense to you.

"Curandeiro" was improvised in 3 passes using AudioDamage Quanta2. It is true that you can be inspired by a plugin. The mood for me is messy & ecstatic. The combination of tonal elements & noisy sounds of uncertain origin is kind of my deal.

"Contabilita" is based around a shortwave sample of music from a Turkish shortwave station. I chopped and scrambled it, and then played live against it; I improvised to try and make the randomness add up. The snare-thru-plate-reverb is a tribute to Seefeel & Lee Perry

"Dark Water" is a remix of sorts of Al Stewart's "Life In Dark Water." I actually recorded that song off of shortwave radio for extra cruft. It's pitched down into a grinding inchoate drone.

"CSchlager" is based (again) on a shortwave recording. It's a hilariously cheesy Chinese pop song. I love how recording shortwave pre-garbages music. Filtering and chopping reduce it to tatters, but interesting tatters.

"EximPortal" uses sampled piano playing the same notes as a synth part. Audiothing Wires adds distortion and texture. I built the patch for this, but after messing about with it for a while, I cleared all the sequences and tried again with 1/4 as many notes.

On "Commoli" I sequenced 4 note chords instead of individual notes, which has the effect of sometimes sounding like one note some times & like a chord other times. Some shortwave news broadcast in the background add texture.

"Sirena Consulta" uses multiple unsteady sequencer clocks to make chaotic rhythms. To me, it changes over time to something that has its own logic and flow.

"Thjofafos" is about placing sounds in a virtual space, with enough time separating them that each one moves in that imagined space. There's a dark chiming sound & I don't remember how it's made or what determines when it's there.
